About us

Bayka (short for Bayerische Kabelwerke AG) is a medium-sized cable manufacturer with more than 130 years company tradition.

We develop and produce power cables, flexible connection cables as well as motor cables, telecommunication cables, FOC, railway cables, signalling cables, fire protection cables as well as customer-specific cables. The product range Baykaplus complements our cable range with a constantly growing selection of cable accessories.

We have production sites for cable manufacturing in the Middle Franconian city Roth as well as in the German capital Berlin (Bayka Berlin GmbH and Berliner Glasfaserkabel GmbH). The subsidiary Bayka Color Farbkonzentrate GmbH, also located in Roth, produces colour concentrates and plastic compounds for the cable industry as well as for plastics processing businesses.

Love for Cables
In 1898 , we manufactured the first power supply line. Since then, we have been motivated by our passion for cables and its diverse applications within the sectors of telecommunication, railway and public transport, building construction and civil engineering as well as machinery and plant engineering.
