Simultaneously with the beginning of the FOC era, Bayka enlarged its production capacities for fibre optic cables.
Bayka and four other medium-sized companies founded BGF in Berlin in 1986. The production halls and machineries were designed for the special requirements of the Federal Post Office and Federal Railway.
A few years later, after relocation within Berlin, BGF enlarged its production halls and plants with optimized production capabilities. Different modern machines and production lines enabled an extension of the product range. For future production expansion there are almost no limits due to the huge size of the site.
